CROP Walk

Today was the Austin CROP walk. For youth conference, the different wards had a competition to see how much they could raise. The youth in our ward won, raising $1125 (they won by quite a margin and so they collected their prize - being 1st in the food line at the conference). Great job! The ward encouraged everyone to wear orange (not too hard living in Austin because of UT) and there was a ward breakfast and a photo contest. The three categories were: 1) The number of ward members photographed at the CROP walk, 2) Best nature photo, and 3) Best overall/general photo. I photographed 68. Below are some of my submissions for the other categories (not all of them - the ones with Riley are just in because, well, she's my daughter).

Riley was ready to go and the bees were out (look for it in flowers). By the end, Riley was pooped and fell asleep.

Cute pics! But do you think you can beat Bro. Turner and his HUGE, fancy camera??? Hmmm, the competition could be fierce!
